February 2014
"A Line In The Sand"
Title of the new album currently being written and hopefully should be finished in early 2014. The album will feature the first recordings of "Dali" songs with Gayle Fraser and Stewart Sibley.
We have been writing together now for about 18 months and it has been difficult short listing songs as Gayle has been pretty prolific with her ideas and for me has made the writing process that much more fun and less lonely. Adrian as always is in the lyrical department throwing some "curved balls" not to mention the "A Line In The Sand" lyric currently being written. Stewart adding his musical genius to the mix of course. So the short list currently is the following but this likely to change so watch this space:-
1. Orbit
2. Broken Faith
3. Where Are You Now
4. The Search
5. Tortured Soul (Dali)
6. I Don't Understand
7. Up All Night
8. You Got A New Girlfriend
9. Anytime Anyplace (Dali)
10. Runaway Child (Dali)
11. Taken For Granted
12. Leaving (Dali)
13. I'm Still Not Over You (Dali)
14. Unbreakable
There are a further 15 songs in various stages of completion available and will be posting some of them on here. I'll also post the latest version of Unbreakable on the next blog.
Back to the 80s
A very busy month for Back to the 80s with the diary filling up with plenty of bookings. In addition, the band were at Epic studios preparing a new video live in performance. These pictures were taken by the lovely Sarah Watts
Rollacoaster
Back on the road again and performing at The Dorchester for Valentines evening. Have a look at this video from the evening and see if you can guess what is the song the band is performing.
Finally this month look out for some new acts over the next few months as we launch a brand new management / representation arm to what we do. In this day and age it's important to represent quality in a very competitive market and I am so proud to represent the coming acts and look forward to enjoying their success. Acts announced in next month's blog.
That's all for now except to say March it's Clannad, Mary Black and ABC lined up! And a small trip to Dubai and Singapore again
